User Reference: Settings

In the section you can set some settings for the application. Settings for archiving are in the Setup.

Fonts

For the conversation list the font and the font size can be customized. Click on the Select button.

Registration

You can register with the menu or in this section. Either click on the Register button to locate the registration file or drop it into the window. After registration you will get a confirmation dialog and the window will show the registration info.

Version Check

MAX Messages can check if a new version is available.

Statistics

MAX Messages does a very lightweight statistics. By default this is active but can be deactivated at any time.

Appearance

You can customize the appearance of the application. By default new style icons are used but the old style icons work on any version of macOS. "Transparent main window" makes the main window transparent when no archive is open. Gridlines can be shown or hidden.
