Diagnosis

You can set if the archive database is to be diagnosed after archival. This may take a while, but then you can be absolutely sure that the database is okay.

Data Logging

The following options are available for the database log:

• No logging
• Only Error Messages
• Error Messages and Warnings
• Errors, Warnings and Debug Messages

The higher the level, the more data is written. If the level is changed, a restart of the application is required.

Valentina-Logs will be created in the folder user/username/Library/Logs/V4RB/vlogs:

The option "Log SQL Chat Queries" logs some queries and their result from Messages. Message data is NOT logged.

The button "Export Contacts" can export your the names of your contacts, the phone numbers and email addresses into an SQLite database. This should only be done on request of support. Because the data is private the file needs to be sent by you and will not be automatically sent to Moth Software.
